See, I've been talking about how (surprisingly) fair Black Hawk Down was, as far as I was concerned. (If you want to argue the merits of that opinion, you can always do so on my live journal as a comment) Anyway, he's now, without having seen the movie, passing on negative reviews based on the politics of the movie. GRRR He just won't go see it, and won't listen to my opinion. Which makes me feel totally stupid. I mean, he won't pay attention to the opinion of a person he loves and raised, but he will take that of a total stranger? Brilliant. |
